Okay so I've been tagged! I can do 7's. That is my lucky number you know. I was born on 7/17/7? so I really had no choice. Well, here goes.
7 THINGS I CAN DO:
#1 COOK: Yes, it is something I love to do. I love to try new recipes so Pres can rate them. They either get a rating from 1-10 or they just plain end up on the "DO NOT MAKE AGAIN LIST". Believe me he is a tough critic. Just ask his mom. One of my favorite things to make is homemade whole wheat bread. I make it weekly (sometimes at 5 am) but it is so worth it when you pull fresh hot bread out of the oven. We rarely eat store bought bread anymore.
#2 SHOOT AND HIT. Yes, I am a girl hunter. It comes with the family. I got my trophy elk in 2003 on the Paunsegaunt. What a rush! He scored a 355. I had the worlds best guides (Preston, Ryan, Brett Bob, Kasey and Puddin' Head). My elk proudly hangs in my sister (Marleen's) gas station (Cove Fort Chevron) near Beaver, Utah, so if you ever stop in for gas or a treat you can see him. He hangs above a table in their SUBWAY! Now that ought to make customers hungry! (I wonder if they ever get any complaints from customers about elk hair in their food)????
#3 CHILDREN: I can hang out with 30 ten year olds for 180 days of the year and enjoy every minute of it! Yes, I teach 4th grade and love it! Preston says I get along so well with the kids because I'm on their level. (ha ha very funny).
#4 DANCE: My parents paid for 20 years of lessons. I don't know that they got their money's worth though.
#5 BUTTERFLY: I swam on the Cedar swim team for 5 years and my specialty was 100 fly. If you want rock hard abs this is the stroke for you. If you've seen me lately you can tell I haven't been near a pool. YIKES!
#6 BE A WIFE AND MOM: Whether I am good at it or not this is my passion. This is the best job in the world and one that I treasure more than anything. My family is so precious to me. Family is everything and I am so blessed to have the husband and kids that I have.
#7 MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH: Preston would say I am the worlds biggest smart a$$. (I'd say he is)
7 THINGS I CAN'T DO:
#1 MAKE A DECISION: Yes, I am the queen of second guessing. What do you think? Are you sure? But what if? It drives Preston and Sundee NUTS!
#2 PEE STANDING UP: Hello, what girl can!
#3 SING IN PUBLIC: Would scare me to death, although I am a rock star in the shower or the car (basically, when NO one is listening).
#4 HANG WITH RATTLESNAKES: I do believe this is a phobia. I have dreams about them biteing me to death. I am SOOO scared of them. Quite possibly paranoid. Yes, I am Dude's daughter so it comes in the genes.
#5 RUN FOR VERY LONG: My 59 year old mom KICKS my butt when we run distance. Not kidding. She blows my doors off! I am a fast sprinter, but distance I can not do. GO MOM!
#6 FLY SCARE WEST: I'm fine in a bigger plane but can't do the small ones. I found that out the hard way this summer. I'd rather walk 10,000 miles. Yes, I know more of Dude's paranoia coming out, but what do you expect.
#7 HULA HOOP: This one really ticks me off because I have tried since I was a kid. Guess I just don't have the hips or I'm just a HULATARD (very possible).
7 THINGS THAT ATTRACTED ME TO PRESTON:
#1 HELLO HOTTIE!: Wrangler butts drive me nuts! (plus he had a nice truck).
#2 SUPER FUNNY GUY: My cousin Candalyn set us up because we both had red hair and were perverts! GEEZ what a compliment! Well, 12 years later we're still keeping the dirty jokes coming. J/K (we're not that bad). Preston is still the only person who can make me laugh until I pee. I was fortunate to find someone as weird as me! Love you babe!
#3 SUPER SMOOCHER: He attacked me on our first date and from there I was hooked. (He will tell you that I attacked him, but that is a LIE). Anyway, we played some good tonsil hockey! He's a great kisser!
#4 SUPER DAD POTENTIAL: I could tell he would make a great dad right off the bat. Preston has always been amazing with kids. Maybe because he is one. I have never seen a better father anywhere. He lives for our babies and I absolutely love that about him. He is well known at our Elementary as a daddy volunteer. He has spent time in all of our kids classes as a reading father. He is the best coach and stayed awake for 3 days straight so that he wouldn't miss a second of Kache's baseball tourney. Our kids are so blessed and am I lucky or what???
#5 TOUGHER THAN THE REST: He knows how to hunt (family requirement), fish, fight and all those manly man things. He is a very hard worker and sacrifices so much for us. That is so sexy! He is a wonderful provider and protector.
#6 MAN IN UNIFORM: Who doesn't love a man in uniform??? When I met Preston he was serving in the National Guard. He always looked so dang cute in his camo duds! After being deployed in 2003 and health issues it was time for him to get out but it was a great experience.
#7 GOOD OLE BOY: Preston was from a small town and raised with good old fashioned values. Though he had had a rough life to that point he knew what he wanted. That was me and a family. He had a strong testimony of the gospel and honored his priesthood. He wanted a temple marriage and a house full of rug-rats. He was and is perfect for me!
7 THINGS I WANT TO DO BEFORE I DIE:
#1 Go to Italy
#2 Get my CDL
#3 shoot a big deer
#4 run a 5k or half marathon
#5 See my kids go on missions, graduate from college, and get married to a nice person in the temple.
#6 Cuddle my grandchildren and great grandchildren
#7 Serve a mission with Preston
7 THINGS I SAY THE MOST:
#1 ABSOLUTELY NOT!
#2 GET YOUR BUTTS IN THE CAR, WE'RE LATE!
#3 "GIVE ME FIVE" ( teacher lingo)
#4 CAN I PINCH YOUR BUM? Let me explain before you think I am a sicko! My kids have the cutest, plumpest bums. I love to goose them.
#5 What the Freak???
#6 Tickle me. I love to be tickled but hate to be the tickler (I know, so selfish).
#7 I love you and kiss me (hopefully I say these the most).
7 THINGS I LOVE TO EAT: (What don't I love to eat) GEEZ!!!
#1 Mom's chicken fettucini: Seriously, it puts the Olive Garden to shame! Her bread sticks are the bomb too.
#2 Chocolate dipped strawberries: (Yes, I can eat these till I throw up)
#3 Postum: I recently learned that my mormon coffee has been discontinued!!!! soooooooooooo sad!
#4 Mom's coconut cream pie: My mom is the worlds best cook.
#5 Shrimp at Milt's: Can't afford them very often but mm-good.
#6 Preston's dutch oven potatoes: He got this recipe from Blake and Tara when they lived next door. He uses potatoes, onion, sprite, bacon, baby carrots and lots of cheese!
#7 Mom's hot rolls: This was my Grandma Baldwin's recipe. If she put these in a contest she would definatly win!!!
#8 Costa Vida Sweet Pork: To die for. (Sorry I added an extra)
7 CELEBRITY ADMIRATIONS

#2 Randy Pauch ( the last lecture)
#3 Sara Palin (You go girl)
