Kolby's 7th Baseball Birthday Party 2009!

I can't believe that 7 years ago tomorrow (July 9th, 2002) our beautiful baby Kaboose was born! Kolby Preston White arrived at 12:04, just in time for lunch! I remeber driving to the hosptial at 5 am that morning with Preston and stopping at Smith's to get a video tape on the way so that we could record the special event! I remember Preston playing and singing "Bobby Sue" (Oakridge boys) so loud in the C.D. player on the way in to the hospital. It drove me NUTS! We didn't get much sleep the night before because we knew they were going to start me and we were worried. Babies are born everyday, but if you stop to think about it, each time one arrives healthy, with all of their fingers and toes it is truly a MIRACLE!
Kolby was our miracle coming out with the cord wrapped around his neck twice! He was healthy and squinting because of all the bright lights. He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. He was perfect and such a good baby! He was loved to pieces from the moment he arrived and we still can't get enough of him! We are so happy that you chose to come to our family and be our baby Kolbster! We love you so much!
By the way his name was supposed to be "Bransen J." but hts daddy played a trick on mom in the hospital by putting the name he wanted "Kolby Preston" on the side of the crib. Mommy was to tired to get up and change it after delivering a baby so we left it. Now I think it is the perfect name. He sure looks like a Kolby to me!!!!
For Kolby's birthday he chose a Boston Red Socks Baseball party!
His inivtations.
His darling cake was made by a friend of mine! He absolutely loved it!

Ofcourse, they had to play a game of baseball in the back yard. Daddy was the pitcher and Kache and Dax were the umps.
What a cute Red Socks boy!

More backyard baseball fun!

Opening presents! He got a lot of fun things from his friends, including a REAL bunny he named "Thumper" from his friend Dex. Daddy was thrilled!

Tear that thing open!

He gave out peanuts and Cracker Jack to his friends as a "Thank you" for comming.

Happy Birthday Kolby!!! You are such a joy and loved so much!
