Celebrating Achievements!

This week has been a special on at our house, because of all of the exciting things that have happened! Each accomplishment was earned with a lot of blood, sweat and tears. I am so proud of my three reds and want them to always remember that with a goal in clear view, packed with a lot of hard work they can achieve ANYTHING!

Kolby Preston White

Kolby receieved this months "Tiger Award" which was chosen by his teacher. I told him that of all of the themes "hard word" is in my oppionion the most important one to get. I am so glad that he chooses to work hard and takes his school work seriously. He makes sure that a night doesn't go by that he doesn't read and complete his homework. What a great quality! We are so proud of you Kolby and want you to know that hard work pays off and is the key behind the completion of any worthy goal!

Brinley Mindy White
Brinley on a whim, decided she wanted to enter the "reflections contest" at school in the dance category. The theme was "Beauty is". This required her to choreograph a routine to match the theme, do a "write up" and then perform the dance. I can say she worked her little butt off with little help from me. She would go out on the deck after school and let her creative juices flow. I was impressed with the end result, especially for a 10 year old girl who hasn't done anything like this before. She is amazing! She was tickled pink to hear that she had won 1st place in the dance division at Enoch Elementary. Her video was then sent to the "COUNCIL" level and she was shocked again to win first place! From there it went to "REGIONALS" where she competed against 242 other winners and WON FIRST PLACE AGAIN! Now her dance is on it's way to state! WOW! The things you can accomplish when you simply try and give it your best effort!

We went to a special program to honor the winners at the district office. She came home with medals and certificates and was so cute about it. She gets really shy if anyone gives her any attention. I love that she is humble. I want my Brin girl to know that I am so proud of the person that she is. She is the best daughter a mom could have!

KACHE HOWARD WHITE
Kache has been determined to get a 4.0 GPA more than ever. Last term he missed a 4.0 by one A- and set his mind to push a little harder for perfect A's accross the board. I am proud to say that his hard work and determination has paid off! I love that he is an athlete and violinist, but want Kache to know that the most important of all of these is his grades and school work. An education is worth more than gold. Kache, I hope that you will always have your priorities in order and continue to work hard in school. Though it may not be the funnest part of your life right now, I promise education will pay you back later in life and is something you will never regret!
