Mexican Riviera Cruise

January of 2007, Preston and I went on a much needed vacation! We took a seven day cruise down the Mexican Riviera. When we left Cedar City on Jan. 8th there was more than one foot of snow on the ground. Here we are standing on the beach of Cabo San Lucas January 12th. We had the time of lives! We went with our friends Keri and Karl Callison. We are planning another trip in October. We're thinking about Cozumel. After this trip we are definately addicted to Mexico!

I'm To SEXY for my shirt!

You can't read the sign but it says that tops are optional! Unfortunately for Preston and Karl, they were the only ones taking off their tops on the "toppless" deck! Hey are those six packs I see?

This is what we rode in the back of to get into the Mexican jungle above Peuerta Vallarta. There we did a "Zip Line and Rapell"excursion. Callison's didn't join us on this one and Preston was ticked that I had booked such an extreme adventure for us without talking it over with him first, but when your married to a "chicken butt" thats what you have to do! Gosh, the guy gets scared on the "Tea Cups" at Disney Land! Well, almonst. Anyway we Zip lined more than 2 miles, swinging from tree to tree like monkeys, hudreds of feet above the ground! After Preston figured out that we weren't going to die or atleast die having a blast, he suddenly began to think that he was TARZAN! He would hollar so loud with every "ZIP" that the mexican tour guides started asking me how much Tequilla he had consumed that day. If you ever get to Vallarta this is something you've got to do
It was the experience of a life time and we have it all on video!

Karl, Keri and Preston with
our ship, Carnival "Pride" in the
background. Here we were aboard a Catamaran on our way to the cove of "Los Calitas" for an amazing dinner on the beach. We drank Pina Coladas all the way there (virgin ofcourse). When we approached the cove was lit with torches, there is no power there. The tables were litteraly just feet from the ocean in the sand. We enjoyed and authentic mexican meal, then hiked up the mountain to an outdoor amphitheatre and watched an amazing show. On the Catamaran on the way back the ship Preston volunteered to make an ass of himself and did a skit for the entire boat. His new name is "Pancho". We laughed until we pee'd, well almost. For his great show he got a bottle of Tequilla that he proudly displays in our living room. I wonder what our bishop thinks when he stops by.

Here Preston and I are sipping Pina Colada's with the Callison's in Mazatlan. The Pina Colada's in Mexico are like drinking a pineapple coconut cloud. Man I wish I had one right now!

The food on the cruise way fantastic! My favorites were the Lobster tail , fresh pineapple and ofcourse the Pina Coladas. We got room service about every morning and ate pizza everynight after midnight up on the Lido deck and everything in between. Not so good for the waste line but SOOOOOO DELICIOUS!

One of th
e highlights of our trip was watching Preston perform on stage in front of over 1,000 people, singing with a live band as "ELVIS"! About six guests were chosen to STAR in the show on the last night. Preston tried out and was picked! Elvis is his idle and so this was really fun for him! He's quite the little performer and he can really shake that thing! He was HILARIOUS but totally out of his mind! "Thank you, Thank you very much!"

This is my " hunk a hunk a burnin love" with one of the dancers in his performance. Yes, he had his own dancers!!!

After spending 7 days with the guy I married almost 11 years ago I realized what a good choice I have made! There is no one in the world I would rather spend my life with! After taking this trip we realize how neccessary it is to take time out of busy schedules and just get away together! This is something we will definately be doing more often and highly recomend it!
