"Lovin'tine"
When Kolby was a sweet little toddler he thought that "Valentine" was "Lovin'tine". He went around asking all of us if we would be his "Lovin'tine". We thought this was so adorable that every year since I have asked Kolby a zillion times if he would be my Lovin'tine. His answer has always been "YES" often sealed with a kiss. Well, this morning at 7:00 A.M. It was time for Kolbers to get up for the day. I could tell with his lack of motivation that he wasn't going to budge, so I climbed under the covers with him as I often do to tickle his back, steal a few smooches, and help him wake up. As Valentines is coming up I decided to ask the question, "Hey Kolby, will you be my Lovin'tine?" It was quiet for a minute and then to my surprise I heard a sleepy, soft little voice whisper "I'll think about it." WHAT THE HECK??? You'll think about it??? He used to love this little game! He thinks he is getting to old and cool to be his mother's Loven'tine!!! My baby is growing up and it is killing me! When the other 2 have gotten to old for the mushy stuff it has been okay, because there has always been a kid younger that I could kiss on, but Kolby is it, the caboose my very last one. After thinking about it for about 2 seconds I've decided that I have got news for Mr. Kolby. He's going to be my "Lovin'tine" until he's 102 whether he likes it or not. Next he'll be telling me not to kiss him in public. At that point I think I might just die!

SAD!!! It's just not fair that all our sweeties are getting too old and cool for smooches anymore!
CUTE POST!!! Happy Valentines Day!
So sad! I am sure he was still just to sleepy to play along! I have to laugh at the cute things he says!
very cute post!
CASEY MY BIG LINE MAN AT CHS STILL CALLS ME MAMA AND KISSES AT SCHOOL IN FRONT OF HIS FRIEND. SO YOU NEVER KNOW YOU MIGHT GET SOME LOVIN TINE TILL THEN.
What a cute little man!! I still can't believe how big your kids are! He was only one when we left - has it really been that long ago?

Thats so cute...and sad! I keep thinking the same thing with Kinzlee, what am I going to do when I have to bribe her for kisses? Dont you wish sometimes they would just stay little?
Colby. I feel your pain. Just know that your mom means it when she says that your gonna be her lovin-tine for a long time, and get smooched and tickled to death. I am telling you this as someone who has experianced this kind of torture(from her older sis. Kami and Sundee).Only when your big brother Kache was born did I get relief from this treatment ( and I was 14yrs old). If you ask your aunt gug , she will verify that this is true. So hang in there buddy cauze its gonna be a long road.Love ya! Love your aunt Cindee
