Thanksgiving Fun 2008!

This year was our turn to eat at my mom's house for Thanksgiving. We switch off with my mom and Preston's mom every year. It was so fun to get together with mom and all of my siblings and their families(except Marleen), Mont and his boys came later in the day. Brandi was in the hospital recovering from surgery and Lisa was with her. Get well soon Brandi!
Boy did we ever PIG OUT! How can you help it with mother's food! Everything right down to the stuffing is homemade! The dinner was amazing!

Kache and Bryson getting ready to share what they are most thankful for just before dinner. This is a fun tradition that mom started at our house a few years back. Sweet Braeli (Ryan's little girl) said she was thankful for butterflies. How sweet!

Aunt Cindee holding Marlee (Mindee's baby). What a pair of super cute redheads!
Braeli, Brinley and Brecklyn.......Tripple "B" Beauties!

I wanted to share a pic of my favorite Thanksgiving food.....Sweet Potatoes...Yum! Not the usual favorite for most but sooo yummy to me! I made the sweet potatoes and two pies this year. A pumpkin and coconut cream, using Grandma Baldwin's pie crust recipe ofcourse! Topped with fresh whipped cream YUM!

What could be more fun than cousins playing an "after feast" game of bingo?

Uncle Brett Bob holding baby Kinzlee. Brett fried a turkey for us this year and it was delicious! Wow Brett, who knew you could do anything even kind of domestic? Wouldn't that be considered "Womans Work" in your book? Anyway, your turkey was the bomb and thanks for not buring the house down!

Preston holding sleepy Dalani (Ryan's baby). She is a sweet little shy baby who won't let just anyone hold her, but Preston has this affect on babies. For some silly reason they all adore him!

Kolby, Shelby and Breck sipping Cranberry slush and looking like cute turkeys!

Cute Coy boy! His favorite word is "Butt face"! If you can't, tell he is Brett's and as adorable as they come! Just look at those big browns!

Sexy Granny!

This is the mastermind behind our Turkey day feast! She could put Rachel Ray to shame! NOT KIDDING! She made the best turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes (with whipped cream) and homemade gravy, rolls, and pomegranite salad that you ever tasted and thats only a sample of what she whipped up! Every last thing was made from scratch. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful mom who spoils us with her cooking talents! She cooked her buns off! Thanks mom for making Thanksgiving so special! We love you so much!

This Christmas, we need to have a Brown/Brindley Guitar Hero competition! That would be so fun! I miss all of our holiday get togethers. I'm gonna ask my mom about planning something this year, it'll be fun!
